Ondo Guber: We Have Uncovered their Actions - PDP says

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has voiced strong objections to the declared results, setting the stage for a legal confrontation.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the victor, having secured 366,781 votes against PDP's candidate Ajayi Agboola, who garnered 117,845 votes.

Ayo Fadaka, special adviser to the PDP governorship candidate, expressed the party's discontent in a statement released on November 19, 2024. He alleged that the election was compromised by "actions undertaken to compromise the electoral desires of the people," pointing fingers at INEC for failing to protect the integrity of the electoral process.

Fadaka emphasized that democracy cannot flourish "in an environment where unabated criminality is perpetrated."

The PDP has resolved to challenge the election outcome through legal channels, with Fadaka stating, "Legal action against the results of the APC victory is the only option available to us in reversing the alleged stolen mandate."

The party remains hopeful for justice, believing that both human and divine intervention will prevail in their favor.
