Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have been caught on camera in the ongoing Ondo State Governorship election engaging in vote-buying activities in Okitipupa Local Government Area.

According to reports, these party agents were seen distributing N3000 to voters at Ward 3, Unit 11 and 12, Ilu Tuntun, allegedly to secure votes for Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
This incident was captured in a video provided by Kayode Babayomi, the African Action Congress (AAC) Oyo State Chairman.
The video reveals a voter admitting to receiving the money, although the APC members involved denied the allegations when confronted and subsequently fled the scene.
Additionally, similar vote-buying activities were reported at polling unit 007 (PU007), Ajagba Ward 2, Irele Local Government Area, where political party agents were observed handing out signed papers to voters as tickets to collect cash after casting their votes.
The Department of State Services (DSS) has also arrested a suspected vote-buyer in Akure, found with two bags of money. Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Agboola Ajayi, expressed dissatisfaction with the election process, citing delays and alleging that the election was compromised.
He criticized the proximity of security personnel to polling units, claiming it intimidated voters, and called for the resignation of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, over these issues.
