Popular British YouTuber and Rapper Yung Filly Granted Bail After Being Arrested for Rape in Perth

British YouTuber and rapper Yung Filly, whose real name is Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been granted bail after facing serious legal charges in Australia.


The 29-year-old internet personality was arrested on allegations of r@pe and assault, following an incident that reportedly occurred in his hotel room in Hillarys, Perth, after a performance.


The charges against Barrientos are severe, including four counts of sexual penetration without consent and three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm. Additionally, he faces a charge of impeding a person’s breathing by applying pressure to their neck. These allegations involve a woman in her 20s and have led to significant media coverage due to Barrientos' public profile.


Barrientos was initially taken into custody in Brisbane on October 8 and subsequently extradited to Perth, where the alleged incident took place. During his court appearance at Perth Magistrates Court on October 10, no pleas were entered. He was granted bail under strict conditions, which include a personal undertaking and a surety of 100,000 Australian dollars each. His next court appearance is scheduled for December 19 for a committal mention.


The Government of Western Australia has emphasized that the investigation is ongoing and has urged anyone with information related to this case or similar incidents to come forward.
