President Tinubu Accepts Ngelale’s Resignation, Wishes Him Speedy Recovery

President Bola Tinubu accepted the resignation of Ajuri Ngelale, his spokesman and Special Presidential Envoy on Climate Action. Ngelale stepped down due to personal and health reasons.
In a statement released by the presidency, Tinubu expressed his understanding and sympathy for Ngelale's situation. "President Tinubu has received the memo from Ajuri Ngelale informing him of his resignation for personal and health reasons," the statement read. "The President accepted Ngelale’s reasons for the resignation, fully understood them, and sympathised with the circumstances that led to his decision."
Tinubu took the opportunity to commend Ngelale for his dedication and contributions to national discourse and climate action initiatives. "He noted Ngelale’s efforts and dedication in serving the nation, and thanked him for his contributions, especially in advancing national discourse and leading efforts on climate action and other key initiatives," the statement continued.
The President also extended his prayers and best wishes to Ngelale and his family, hoping for a speedy recovery and full restoration to health. "During this period, we kindly ask that the wish for privacy of Chief Ngelale and his family be respected," Tinubu added.
