President Tinubu Appoints Bianca Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in Cabinet Reshuffle

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Bianca Ojukwu as the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

This appointment was officially announced on Wednesday October 23, following a Federal Executive Council meeting.

Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the late Biafra warlord Emeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, is a prominent figure in Nigerian politics and is expected to bring fresh perspectives to the country's foreign affairs.

The reshuffle, described by many as a strategic shift, also saw Jumoke Oduwole being named the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment.

In addition to these appointments, five other individuals were inducted into the ministerial ranks, marking a decisive approach by President Tinubu to rejuvenate his cabinet. As part of this overhaul, five ministers were dismissed, underscoring the President's commitment to dynamic governance.

A statement from the Presidency highlighted the significance of these changes, noting that they are intended to "bring diverse insights into the government's operations." The reshuffle is anticipated to impact Nigeria's foreign policy dynamics and leadership structure significantly.
