Real Madrid has decided to increase the salaries of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior in a strategic move to maintain harmony within their star-studded squad.
This decision comes in response to the potential friction that could have arisen due to the wage disparity with Kylian Mbappe, who joined the club as a free agent from Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

According to OK Diario, "Real Madrid president Florentino Perez was keen to avoid any tension amongst his best players." Initially, Mbappe's base wage of €15 million (£12.6 million) per year made him the highest earner at the club, surpassing Bellingham and Vinicius, who were each earning €10 million (£8.4 million) annually. The €5 million (£4.2 million) difference was seen as a potential source of discord in the dressing room.
To address this, Perez decided to match the wages of all three players, bringing Bellingham and Vinicius' annual salaries up to €15 million (£12.6 million). This huge pay rise ensures that the trio now earns the same amount, thereby eliminating any financial hierarchy that could disrupt team unity.
Reports from Germany suggest that Bellingham's new six-year deal is worth €20 million (around $21.7 million) per season before tax, which drops to €10 million (over $10.8 million) after tax. However, with the recent adjustment, his net earnings align with those of Mbappe and Vinicius.
