'Remains The Only' - Davido Brags as Wizkid Fails to Break his Record on Spotify

Afrobeats singer, Davido has expressed pride in retaining his record on Spotify.

Despite the release of Wizkid's new album 'Morayo', which broke several Spotify records, it failed to surpass Davido's achievement of occupying the top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for two consecutive days. This record was originally set by Davido's album 'Timeless' last year.

A music-monitoring platform, The Data Dash, confirmed this by stating on X, “@davido remains the only artist to occupy the Top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for 2 consecutive days, with all new songs from his album ‘Timeless’.”

In response, Davido proudly reposted, “Remains the only!”
