Rapper Rick Ross is facing a new legal challenge as he has been sued by a disabled man named Darris Straughter for not making his car show wheelchair accessible.

The lawsuit, filed on August 9th, 2024, claims that Straughter was promised a wheelchair-accessible shuttle bus to transport him from the parking lot to the event.
Despite multiple assurances, the shuttle bus never arrived, leaving Straughter waiting for hours before he eventually gave up and returned to his hotel.
Straughter alleges that he had reached out to the venue two weeks prior to the event to ensure the necessary accommodations were in place. He had gone to great lengths to attend the car show, including paying for travel, lodging, and a ticket, even selling his car to cover the expenses.
The lawsuit accuses Rick Ross of breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act. Straughter is seeking damages and an order requiring future events to provide proper accessibility for disabled individuals.
