Security Guard Brutally Attacked, Killed by Rampaging Dogs in Lagos Estate [Video]

A tragic incident recently occurred at Pinnock Estate in the upscale Lekki area of Lagos, where a security guard was mauled to death by three dogs.

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police has since arrested the owner of the dogs, who remains unidentified. This event has sparked significant reactions on social media platforms.

A video shared by an X user, @itzbasito, depicted the three dogs surrounding the lifeless body of the security guard. The caption read, "Pinnock Estate last night: A resident didn’t properly lock in his dogs, dogs escaped and ma*led an Estate Security man to d3ath."

In response to public concern, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Lagos State, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed via Twitter that the dog owner had been apprehended and is currently in police custody.

He also referenced a section of the Nigerian constitution, highlighting that failing to take precautions against potential dangers posed by one's animals is considered a reckless and negligent act.

Investigations are ongoing to uncover further details about this unfortunate event.
