Social Media Star VeryDarkMan Raises ₦33m in Just 24 Hours for New NGO

Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has successfully raised ₦33 million within just 24 hours of launching his new Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

The initiative, which focuses on community development and improving resources for public schools, has captured the attention of many, both in Nigeria and beyond.

VeryDarkMan, a controversial figure on social media, announced the launch of his NGO through a video posted on his Instagram account, @verydarkblackman, on October 12.

In his post, he called for support, emphasizing his commitment to transparency and accountability. "I will be very transparent. I will post the money that was contributed online for everyone to see, and I will carry everyone along," he assured his followers.

The overwhelming response saw donations pouring in from individuals contributing as little as ₦500 or less, highlighting the broad-based support for his cause despite financial constraints. "Most of these people no get, but they want to support me. The love is massive," VDM expressed with gratitude.
