Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface narrowly escaped death following a severe car accident on October 20, 2024. The incident occurred just hours after Boniface had scored the decisive goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.
