T.I.'s Son King Harris Apprehended on Failure to Appear in Court

T.I.'s son, Clifford "King" Harris Jr., was arrested earlier this week in Georgia due to an open warrant for his failure to appear in court. The warrant originated from charges related to speeding, driving with a suspended license, and a DUI incident that occurred back in August 2022.

According to Fox 5 Atlanta, King Harris, who is 20 years old, was initially taken into custody at Dekalb County Jail before being released to Pickens County.

The arrest unfolded when King Harris almost collided with a police car while exiting a gas station in his BMW. Officers reported smelling marijuana and noticed a firearm on his hip. Upon checking his information, the outstanding warrant was discovered.

The arresting officer noted in the incident report, "I informed Mr. Harris that I would need to speak with him outside and opened the driver-side door. Mr. Harris was cooperative, and I removed the firearm from his hip with no issue."

This legal trouble comes as King Harris and his partner are expecting their first child, marking a major moment in his life. His father, T.I., humorously commented on the situation during a recent appearance on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, saying, “King’s about to have a son and I told him I’ma make this the greatest gangster of all time. I will raise this child to torture you the way you tortured me. I promise you. There will be an indictment in this young one.”
