Afrobeats sensation Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has recently opened up about his feelings of nostalgia for his former self. The "Last Last" crooner expressed that he misses the old version of himself, who was perpetually angry.
In a candid revelation on his X handle, Burna Boy wrote, "The new me misses the old me. The old me can’t even understand the new me and thinks the new me is soft for not being so angry all the time."

Burna Boy's reflections highlight a major transformation in his personality over the years. He admitted that his current self, which he describes as "soft," is a stark contrast to his previous persona. This change has left him feeling somewhat disconnected from who he used to be.
In addition to his personal revelations, Burna Boy also addressed a recent misunderstanding with his fans regarding the release of his new album. On July 29, he had announced that the album would drop at "12 am." However, fans were left disappointed when no specific date was provided.
Clarifying the situation, Burna Boy stated, "Ladies and gentlemen, A valuable lesson on paying attention to detail. I said 12 am, I never said what date. No be say I whine una o Na una lose guard."
