Nigerian singer Divine Ikubor, popularly known as Rema, addressed one of the most bizarre rumors he has encountered online in a recent episode of the "Kids Take Over" podcast.

Rema, famous for his hit song "Calm Down," described the rumor as the craziest he has ever seen about himself. When asked by the podcast host about the most untrue thing he had read online, Rema responded, "They say I worship the devil [laughs]. It’s crazy. I didn’t respond to it because it is not important. It’s a waste of time." He clarified that the symbols he uses in his art are rooted in Edo culture and are not satanic.

The podcast also touched on Rema's collaboration with Canadian superstar Drake in 2020 on the track "Mention Me," which was leaked. Rema expressed his enthusiasm about working with Drake, stating, "I’m happy to work with a legend like Drake. I feel like we are going to make a very huge song if we take our time to build something very strong."
