Tinubu's New Ministers Signal Economic Revitalization and Unity

President Bola Tinubu has appointed seven new ministers, signifying his commitment to economic growth and national unity.


The appointments, confirmed by the Senate, include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment, and Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu as Minister of State, Foreign Affairs.


Other key figures are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole for Industry, Trade and Investment; Idi Muktar Maiha for Livestock Development; Rt. Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata as Minister of State, Housing; and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State, Education.


Senator Basheer Lado, Special Adviser to the President on Senate Matters, emphasized that these appointments reflect Tinubu’s "responsiveness to the aspirations of Nigerians" and his dedication to "delivering the dividends of democracy to the citizenry."


He further noted that the ministers were selected based on their "expertise, wealth of knowledge, and extensive experience," equipping them to make impactful changes across key sectors.
