A U.S. Border Patrol agent, Shane Millan, aged 53, has been charged with four misdemeanor counts of deprivation of rights under color of law.
Federal authorities revealed that Millan allegedly coerced four women to expose their breasts during the virtual processing for their admission into the United States.
According to federal prosecutors in the Northern District of New York, Millan's actions were not part of any legitimate search procedures. Instead, he made these demands "for his own gratification."
The accusations state that Millan instructed three women to "expose their bare chests" over a webcam and told a fourth woman to unveil her breasts while keeping her bra on.
The incident came to light when the women reported the inappropriate behavior, leading to Millan's arraignment before a federal magistrate judge in Syracuse. He was subsequently released pending trial.
