The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has openly criticized governors from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who are backing Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
During a grand reception organized by the Rivers Ijaw Peoples Congress, Wike did not mince words about his political stature.
Addressing a crowd that included notable figures such as Adamawa State Governor Umaru Fintiri and Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, Wike asserted, "I’m far bigger than all of you put together.
"He went on to say, "If you don’t recognize someone who is bigger than you, then you are sick."
Wike's remarks come amid internal tensions within the PDP, where he emphasized his political relevance and dismissed any threats from his detractors.
"Let nobody threaten anybody; all those threats are empty. Soon we will know who is relevant," he declared.
