Grammy award-winning Nigerian artist, Burna Boy has recently found himself at the center of a social media storm following the release of fellow musician Speed Darlington.

The controversy began when Speed Darlington was arrested on charges of defamation and cyberstalking related to Burna Boy. After spending three weeks in detention, Darlington was granted bail, a development that sparked widespread reactions among fans and prompted Burna Boy to address the situation publicly.

In a series of Instagram posts, Burna Boy expressed his frustration over the backlash he received in connection with Darlington's arrest. He noted that while people freely express their opinions without consequence, his reactions often lead to what he described as a "nuclear disaster."

Burna Boy emphasized that many critics are fortunate because he now has much to lose, implying that if circumstances were different, there would be severe repercussions for those who speak against him.

His post read: "When they talk, nobody cares, but when I react, it’s a Nuclear disaster. Y’all don’t know how lucky you are that I have too much to lose now. Walahi a lot of you would not be here no more."

The arrest of Speed Darlington had initially caused a stir, especially since it occurred during a performance in Owerri, Imo State. The news of his release on bail was announced by renowned lawyer Stanley Alieke via Instagram, which led to an outpouring of excitement from fans.

However, Burna Boy's response to the situation has been met with mixed reactions. Some fans supported his stance, while others criticized him for his perceived arrogance.
